London-born Clare Napper gained her graphic
design degree from the University of the West of England, Bristol, where she
remained for 4 years, working at the Engine Room, Epoch Design (global FMCG
brands) and award winning Taxi Studio. She then moved to London to freelance
for a number of international agencies including regular contracts with Fitch,
Contra and Good Technology, Soho. During these 2 years she also spent 3 months
in New York, working for the Taproot Foundation, volunteering her design skills
for non profit inner city organisations before moving to Saatchi & Saatchi
Dubai, in March 2007.
Here she worked as Senior Designer for 3 years, in the strategic graphic
creation of brand identities, brand support and corporate communications, as
well as giving regular ATL/ BTL design and creative for 360 campaigns. Notably
she was responsible for all of the BTL design, collateral and operational ATL
for the launch of the Dubai Metro before becoming Head of Design in September
2010. Regional clients Clare has worked with include RTA, World Future Energy
Summit, Qatar Airways, Etisalat, Samba Bank, Nakheel, Dubal Aluminium and Mall
of the Emirates. Other clients include Cadburys, Coca-Cola, Nokia, Unilever,
L'Oréal and the BBC.
